2010 MARPA Annual Conference

Thank you for your interest in the 2010 MARPA Conference. Last year, we had over 230 people registered for the Conference. Attendees include PMA manufacturers, air carriers and repair stations interested in the advantages that PMA can provide to them, and government officials interested in learning more about PMA.

The 2010 MARPA Annual Conference will be held October 27-29 at the Las Vegas Renaissance Hotel. This educational conference will feature speakers and workshops addressing the new FAA rules and policies affecting PMA parts, new EASA initiatives, export of PMA parts, air carrier initiatives, and other challenges facing the PMA community.

As usual, we expect significant participation from the FAA, as they have several projects that will affect PMA manufacturers. Implementing a system that complies with the new Part 21 rule change (featured in our Winter meeting) will be addressed, as will the new policies being released by the FAA to support those rules. 

We also plan to have speakers on the fast-trak PMA process, as well as on business issues like insurance for PMA manufacturers.

We also plan to hold two workshops on October 27th:

  • Engine Parts: Showing Compliance to the Regulations Addressing Endurance, Vibration and Materials
  • Continued Operational Safety

Registration fees are as follows:

  • -Not a MARPA member - $1095 ($995 early registration)
  • -MARPA member (first registrant) - $895 ($795 early registration)
  • -MARPA member (add'l registrants) - $695
  • -MARPA Air Carrier Member - FREE (please just fax a registration form from our website; no payment is necessary)

Early registration lasts through October 1, and after that date, normal registration prices apply.

Membership discounts are good only until October 22, 2009. After that date, registrations will be accepted in-person at the Conference at the full price of $1095

In order to obtain your MARPA membership discount when you register online, please use the MARPA coupon code (will be mailed to members as they renew their 2010-2011 membership). If you are a member of the Trade Association, and you do not have the coupon code with you, then you can obtain this coupon code by calling MARPA at (202) 628-6777.

Please register in the right category. If you register in the wrong category (e.g. a non-member registering as a member) then you will not be permitted to check-in at the conference until you pay the remaining balance on your account.

Please indicate the name(s) of registrant in the special instructions box. We need this information to make sure thta the registrant gets the right name badge!

Although there are no refunds, you may substitute a different attendee from your company if you cannot attend. If yo intend to send a substitute, then please let us know so we can make sure the attendee gets the right name badge.

Don't forget to register for a hotel room! MARPA's room block has SOLD OUT the past three years, and we wouldn't want to see you closed out of the hotel!
